In only his second race as team leader, Boon has secured his maiden victory! Joel, who normally plays the role of Pascal's team mate, was given the opportunity to lead the team after the team manager spotted the Stockholm Tour on the race calendar and deemed it to be a perfect fit for Boon. The team is very happy to have found a second winning option, especially with Pascal finding results hard to come by. Unable to replicate the results of his breakthrough season of Season 20 and disrupted by injuries, Pascal has been feeling under pressure recently. "It's really nice to have Joel getting some results, it lets me concentrate on my own riding without the added pressure." Results from Boon and break away specialist Hamlin, has meant that the team now has more winning options. Although Pascal will still be the main leader of the team, the added flexibility is welcomed warmly. "We're definitely relying less on the race schedule than before," says Havins, who recently secured 5th at San Ramón - San Ramón after spending a long day in the break. "last season, we had trouble finding points when there was a break in the climbing schedule. But Boon can be competitive in so many different types of races, there is always something on offer for him." And the results are already showing.
